Itinerary

Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha Town

Whatever your arrival time at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your driver guide from our office will be there waiting for you with a warm welcoming smile, relax in your comfortable vehicle as he takes you t your hotel in Arusha. On your journey to the hotel, you will get a brief impression of this large brief impression of this large, bustling, commercial city. Depending on your arrival time you may either meet with your Safari expert today for briefing or tomorrow before you start your Safari.
Day 2: Arusha – Olmoti Crater

Early morning after breakfast you will be picked up by our driver at a hotel/lodge with picnic lunches and drive all the way to Ngorongoro highlands to the Nainokanoka Maasai village through Lemala gate, here you will have a short walk to the village. You will have lunches around the village then you will start a walking to Olmoti crater, this is a shallow grassy crater and is the source of Munge River which flows water through a gorge in the rim in a beautiful waterfall on its way to Ngorongoro crater. You will descend to the crater floor and spend a few minutes/hours then later you will ascend to the Olmoti campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Olmoti Crater - Bulati

You will have an early morning breakfast then start a walking from Olmoti campsite to Bulati. Here you will descend the outer hills of the Great Rift Valley and walk across the open plains of the beautiful Embulbul depressions where Antelopes, wildebeest, Zebras and other animals are often seen. You will reach Bulati around late afternoon, Bulati is a typical Maasai village and here you will have your picnic lunches. Dinner and overnight stay at Bulati campsite.
Day 4: Bulati - Empakaai Crater

After breakfast you will leave Bulati campsite with picnic lunches walking through Bulati village all the way to Bulati ranges where as you will reach Empakaai crater in the midday. You will have lunches at a campsite that is located high above the Empakaai crater. This crater is famous for Buffaloes, hyenas, antelopes and flamingoes at the crater floor soda lake. You will descend the forested crater slopes to reach the crater floor and walk around a lake shore of the soda lake. Later you will ascend to the Empakaai crater campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Empaakai Crater - Naiyobi - Acacia Campsite

You will have breakfast at Empakaai campsite, and then with your picnic lunches a walk to Naiyobi will start, the walk to Naiyobi takes approximately 4-6 hours walk. You will walk through a trail that passes around Empakaai crater rim and into the forest which is inhabited by animals such as Buffaloes and porcupines reaching Naiyobi at midday. Naiyobi is a Maasai village which is located at the edge of the Ngorongoro conservation area. Here is where you will part ways with the armed ranger and continue a walk with a Maasai guide to the Acacia forest behind Naiyobi village. Lunch at campsite and dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Acacia Campsite - Natron

After breakfast you will start walking as this is the last part of your trekking as you will hike downward to the rift valley escarpment walking all the way to Pembe ya swala which is a distinctive point where you will find our safari car waiting for you and drive to Natron. Upon reaching Natron you will go to the lake for a walking tour around the lake until afternoon when you will be driven to camp for hot lunch. Then you will rest for a while until around 3 pm when you will be taken for a walk to the beautiful waterfall around Natron, you will return back to campsite in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at lake Natron campsite.
Day 7: Natron - Arusha/Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast you will drive to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport passing through Mto wa mbu for drop off!

5days/4nights of amazing adventure with Roger and Mody. 10/10 We were a family group of 5 on a 4 nights/5 days camping safari with Nyange Adventures right before Christmas 2022. We were welcomed at our Hotel by our guide and driver Roger. He quickly showed how friendly and talented he was, and became part of the “Family”. The first day in Tarangire was extraordinary, and we already felt lucky with Rogers knowledge about the animals. We picked up our Chef Mody, who cooked delicious food throughout our safari. The safari in Serengeti was a highlight as we saw the big 5 right away. Roger has a keen eye for details that others might not notice, and guided us towards an amazing number of animals, birds and reptiles. The storytelling and facts about the different wildlife made the safari seven more special. While we had some bad luck with a small breakdown, Roger and Mody kept the spirits up and were quick to find solutions. At the campsites they were always available and became good friends. At our return to our hotel in Arusha, the manager mr. Nyange himself greeted us, and asked about our adventure with his talented staff. As sad we were to leave Roger and Mody, who we had become friends with through our safari, we were fond of the amazing memories we made. If you are thinking about going on a safari, trip or adventure around Arusha or Moshi, I can highly recommend Nyange adventures, and especially Roger and Mody, who were professional, welcoming, friendly and fun persons to be with.

Amazing experience I could not be happier with the service I received. Nyange adventure has a excellent staff, starting with Amina (sales coordinator), she was the first person that contacted me as soon as I asked for a request. After that, the communication has been great. I travelled alone and as a girl, I felt a little bit scared, but Amina made me feel secure all the time. The tour guide, Rogers, was great, he demonstrated how much he loves his job and how good professional he is. Finally, the cook, Moody, was great, he prepared amazing food an very plentiful all the time. I have no words to thank enough all Nyange Anventure staff for making my stay in Tanzania so amazing.

Great Safari Experience with Nyange Adventures. Highly Recommend! The whole experience was amazing. My second time with Nyange Adventures doing the Tarangine and Ngorongoro national parks Safaris. Picked up at Kili Airport and we drove to the first National Park. Spend the night at a beautiful resort with a great diner and the next morning went to Ngorongoro National park, which really is an extraordinary once in a lifetime experience. The tour company is very professional, plan according to your wishes and take good care of you throughout your stay with them. They go the extra mile to show you all the beautiful animals and share their knowledge with you. Even the lunchboxes were great! We had a wonderful time. Many thanks to our driver, Alan, and the whole Nyange Adventures team. I highly recommend.

Great Safari, great guide and driver. Kids learnt a lot! Top 5 hotels. Excellent service and quality! Nyange Adventures is the best company you can get to do your safari. I went aloke with my 2 children and they did all necessary to make pur stay really unforgettable. Roger, the driver, made possible for us to see all the animals, he found even 2 beautiful Rhynos!Hotels were super luxurious I love them!I dont have any doubt I will contact them again if I come back! Highky recommended!

Amazing skilled guides and very friendly. Perfect safari experience! My mother and I travelled with Ian as our guide and Godfrey joined the team as amazing cook. Ian went above and beyond to give us the best experience, has shared so much knowledge on wildlife, has respect for nature and was simply the best guide we ever had. He and Godfrey were helpful, very friendly and great company. We laughed a lot and we couldn't wish a better team to have this incredible experience with! Thank you guys! Tansania Safari Die Safari war ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis! Wir waren 5 Tage in Serengeti, Ngorongoro und Tarangire zusammen mit unserem Guide und unserem Koch. Die Campsites waren absolut ausreichend mit akzeptablen Sanitäranlagen. Wir mussten uns um nichts kümmern. Alles wurde uns organisiert und geplant. Wir durften nur geniessen. Leckeres Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen mit frischem und mehr als ausreichendem Essen und Trinken wurde uns immer zur Verfügung gestellt, sodass wir nie hungrig sein mussten. Unser Guide hat uns die ganze Reise begleitet, uns an alle Hotspots gebracht und sich sehr bemüht uns alles zu zeigen. Manchmal hätten wir uns mehr organisatorische Infos und etwas weniger Aufmerksamkeit seinerseits für sein Handy gewünscht. Man merkt jedoch, dass er sehr viel Wissen hat, alle Fragen jederzeit beantworten kann und er definitiv seine Arbeit gerne macht. Das Motto von Nyange Adventures „Come as a client-Leave as a friend“ ist wirklich sehr passend! Wir könnten Nyange Adventures nur empfehlen und wünschen jedem eine so tolle Erfahrung, wie wir sie machen durften.

Super safari! 4 dagen lang hebben wij een safari gehad die we nooit meer zullen vergeten. Samen met gids Roger van Nyange Adventures bezochten wij Tarangire, Ngorongoro en Serengeti. We genoten van de prachtige omgeving en wildlife. Roger wist ons allerlei nieuwe dingen te vertellen, beschikt over veel kennis en is erg enthousiast. De communicatie gedurende onze trip was perfect en we krijgen elke dag een duidelijke briefing van wat ons te wachten staat. Al met al enorm genoten, een aanrader.
