On this 6 Days Family Safari Visit Tarangire National Park and among other things, witness giant elephants roam free. After Tarangire National Park, we will take you to Africa’s best national park – the Serengeti where lions, cheetahs, and maybe even millions of wildebeest await depending on the season.

The adventure doesn’t stop there! You’ll also visit Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Imagine a colossal, collapsed volcano creating a natural wildlife haven.

Nicknamed “Elephant Land,” Tarangire boasts the most elephants in Tanzania. Spot these gentle giants among iconic baobab trees. Look out for lions, zebras, buffaloes, leopards, and plenty of giraffes!

Famous for the Great Migration, millions of wildebeest and zebra thunder across the vast Serengeti plains. This park boasts Africa’s largest lion population (over 3,000!), over 500 bird species, and is considered Africa’s best safari destination. Excellent year-round game viewing and one of the few destinations where it is possible to spot all of the “Big Five” – elephants, lions, cheetahs, rhinos, and African buffaloes.

Explore the world’s largest intact caldera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This unique volcanic enclosure shelters a fascinating variety of animals. See elephants, lions, ostriches, rhinos, buffaloes, and zebras roam freely. Nearly all African plains safari animals are found here except giraffes. The crater is part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, bordering Serengeti National Park.

Depending on accommodation availability, your Tanzanian adventure commences in either Arusha or Moshi town. A friendly Team Nyange driver will warmly welcome you upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and ensure a smooth transfer to your pre-arranged accommodation. Take a moment to breathe in the fresh Tanzanian air and settle in for the exciting journey ahead

Travel to Tarangire National Park, famous for its towering baobab trees and vast herds of elephants. Watch these gentle giants lumber across the savanna plains and be mesmerized by the park’s diverse wildlife

You will have an early game drive in Tarangire as you continue to unveil the magic of this amazing park. In the afternoon, we will leave the park for Serengeti. It will be a scenic journey towards the world-renowned Serengeti, enjoy a game drive along the way, maximizing your chances of spotting even more incredible animals.

If you have every dreamed of an early morning balloon safari floating over the Serengeti plains, today is your chance (extra price of $600/person for this option). Either way today’s adventure takes you deep into the heart of the magnificent Serengeti National Park. Keep a keen eye out for the king of the jungle, the lion, alongside graceful cheetahs and swift gazelles as you traverse the seemingly endless plains.

Go on an early morning game drive in the vast Serengeti; maximize your chances of encountering a variety of wildlife before the midday heat sets in. After a delicious lunch, we’ll then set off on a scenic journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, your home for the night.

Enjoy a final game drive in Ngorongoro Crater’s wildlife haven for a morning game drive. Witness lions, elephants, and more in this UNESCO wonder. The crater is one of the best safari destinations in Africa, but it is not large, just 20km in diameter, so in 4-5 hours all will be seen. After this exciting wildlife encounter, head to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure (Zanzibar? Home?) or to Arusha/Moshi for the end of this itinerary.
