Flocks of pink flamingos paint the shores of Lake Manyara, nicknamed “Lake of the Birds.” This park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions! Located near the Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater route, the park was even featured in the 1962 film Hatari!
Explore the world’s largest intact caldera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This unique volcanic enclosure shelters a fascinating variety of animals. See elephants, lions, ostriches, rhinos, buffaloes, and zebras roam freely. Nearly all African plains safari animals are found here except giraffes. The crater is part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, bordering Serengeti National Park.
Famous for the Great Migration, millions of wildebeest and zebra thunder across the vast Serengeti plains. This park boasts Africa’s largest lion population (over 3,000!), over 500 bird species, and is considered Africa’s best safari destination. Itinerary
Go into Ngorongoro Crater’s wildlife haven for a morning game drive. Witness lions, elephants, and more in this UNESCO wonder. The crater is one of the best safari destinations in Africa, but it is not large, just 20km in diameter, so in 4-5 hours all will be seen. In the afternoon, relax and travel to Serengeti, for your overnight stay. This scenic park offers diverse of widlife,Great Migration and Birds Species.
If you have ever dreamed about an early morning balloon safari floating silently above the Serengeti plains, this is your chance ($600/person extra charge for this add-on). Either way, today’s adventure takes you deep into the heart of the magnificent Serengeti National Park, Witness the vast migration patterns (depending on the season), witness the beauty of a pride of lions lying in the golden sunlight. Price excludes
Tipping your guides and camp/lodge staff is a kind gesture to acknowledge their hard work and excellent service. While tipping is not mandatory, it is certainly appreciated.
Spa treatments, laundry services, and other add-on amenities offered by your lodge are typically not included.
Alcoholic beverages (except those included at 5-star accommodations) and other drinks outside your meal plan are not covered.
