This 9 days , 8 nights family safari lets you explore both the “Mini Serengeti” – Arusha National Park and the vast Serengeti National Park itself. You’ll understand why Arusha National Park is nicknamed the “Mini Serengeti” as you explore Arusha National Park where you can spot among other animals, buffalo, and towering giraffes.
After Arusha National Park, you will visit Tarangire where you will witness giant elephants roaming freely. Then, delve into the heart of Serengeti National Park, where lions, cheetahs, rhinos, and maybe even millions of wildebeest await depending on the season.
The adventure doesn’t stop there! You’ll also visit Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Imagine a colossal, collapsed volcano creating a natural wildlife haven. Look out for colorful birds, splashing hippos, and giraffes in Lake Manyara National Park.

Nicknamed “Elephant Land,” Tarangire boasts the most elephants in Tanzania. Spot these gentle giants among iconic baobab trees. Look out for lions, zebras, buffaloes, leopards, and plenty of giraffes!
Famous for the Great Migration, millions of wildebeest and zebra thunder across the vast Serengeti plains. This park boasts Africa’s largest lion population (over 3,000!), over 500 bird species, and is considered Africa’s best safari destination. Excellent year-round game viewing and one of the few destinations where it is possible to spot all of the “Big Five” – elephants, lions, cheetahs, rhinos, and African buffaloes.
Explore the world’s largest intact caldera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This unique volcanic enclosure shelters a fascinating variety of animals. See elephants, lions, rhinos, ostriches, buffaloes, and zebras roam freely. Nearly all African plains safari animals excepting giraffes are present here. The crater is part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, bordering Serengeti National Park.
Flocks of pink flamingos paint the shores of Lake Manyara, nicknamed “Lake of the Birds.” This park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions! Located near the Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater route, the park was even featured in the 1962 film Hatari!
