After that, head to a local spice farm. There, you’ll learn about the different spices grown in Zanzibar. Smell them, taste them, and see how they’re used in cooking.
Finish your day with a cool sunset boat ride along the Zanzibar coast at Kendwa Beach. Sail on a traditional boat, enjoying the pretty views of beaches and clear water. When the sun starts to go down, relax and watch the beautiful colors in the sky over the ocean
Itinerary
Morning: Stone Town
Start your day with breakfast at your hotel. At 9:00 AM, join a guided tour of Stone Town. Visit Darajani Market, the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, and the Anglican Cathedral. Learn about Zanzibar’s history and culture from your guide. By noon, enjoy a traditional cuisine at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Spice Farm
At 1:00 PM, head to a Spice Farm. Discover spices like cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, and black pepper. Taste fresh fruits and spiced tea. The tour ends around 4:00 PM, giving you time to relax at your hotel.
Evening: Sunset Dhow Cruise
At 5:30 PM, get picked up from your hotel for the highlight of your day: the Sunset Dhow Cruise. Board the dhow at 6:00 PM from Stone Town, Kendwa Beach. Sail along the coast, enjoying the beautiful sunset over the Indian Ocean. Enjoy snacks, drinks, and traditional music, and possibly spot dolphins. The cruise ends at 7:30 PM, and you’ll be taken back to your hotel.
