This 2-day package is built for travelers already staying in Zanzibar who want two genuinely different, well-paced days out rather than booking separate tours one by one. There's no arrival day and no hotel included — we simply pick you up from wherever you're staying each morning and drop you back each evening. Day one is a land day: Stone Town's old town and spice farms, finishing with Prison Island's giant tortoises. Day two flips completely to the water: a full day aboard a traditional dhow on the Safari Blue route, snorkeling, dolphin spotting and a seafood lunch on a sandbank. Two days, two very different moods.

You'll be picked up from your hotel mid-morning and driven to Stone Town, the island's historic old city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a guided walk through the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, the Old Slave Market memorial and the famous carved Zanzibari doors.
From there, a short drive takes you to a local spice farm to walk among cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla and cardamom, with tastings along the way. In the afternoon, a short boat crossing brings you to Prison Island (Changuu), home to a colony of giant Aldabra tortoises, some over 100 years old, with time to snorkel the calm reef just offshore before your driver returns you to your hotel.

Today is entirely on the water. You'll be picked up early and driven south to Fumba for the full-day Safari Blue tour — a relaxed sailing trip aboard a traditional wooden dhow through Menai Bay's marine-protected waters, with snorkeling over coral reefs and a good chance of spotting dolphins along the way.
At low tide, the dhow anchors near a sandbank where a fresh seafood lunch is served, with time to swim and wade in shallow, warm water before sailing back in the late afternoon. Your driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

Do I need to book a hotel separately?
Yes — this package covers 2 days of guided excursions with hotel pickup and drop-off, not accommodation. If you'd like help choosing or booking a hotel, just mention it when you enquire and we can quote that alongside.
Can the two days be on non-consecutive dates?
Yes. Most guests run them back-to-back, but if you'd rather split them up around other plans, just tell us your preferred dates for each day when booking.
What time is pickup each day?
Typically between 8:00 and 9:00am, depending on where you're staying and how far it is from Stone Town (Day 1) or Fumba (Day 2). Exact times are confirmed once we know your hotel.
Can I add a third day, like Jozani Forest or Mnemba Island?
Yes, this package pairs easily with an extra excursion day such as Jozani Forest's red colobus monkeys, a Mnemba Island snorkeling trip, or a sunset dhow cruise — just ask and we'll quote it as an add-on.
Do I need a visa or vaccinations?
