Tented Camps

These are large normally rectangular in shape either full canvas tents or structures with canvas walls and a solid roof. Tented camps are not set up daily like the tents in the camping option discussed earlier.Normally tented camps include beds and other necessary furniture of a room, private bathroom facilities, and WiFi access where possible. A good example is what you see here from one of @tortiliscamps tented camps.Tented camps will have communal areas such as a dining and lounge area, a bar, library, and even a swimming pool depending on the rank/tier of the tented camp you choose. Amazing local artwork can be available inside the tents or communal areas as a wonderful addition to your safari experience.

Nyange-Adenture-Lodges

Safari Lodges

hese are usually large, solid structures made from stone, bricks, timber, and thatch. A lodge consists of one main building centrally located and a number of other smaller buildings which are the guest rooms. The main building of a lodge can have a dining and lounge area, a bar, library, and even a swimming pool depending on the rank/tier of the lodge you choose. The photo here is from @ngorongoro_sopa_lodgeYou have already noticed that lodges and tented camps share many similarities including the fact that they also have beds and other necessary furniture of a room, private bathroom facilities, and WiFi access where possible. The main difference between lodges and camps is that lodges have permanent solid structures while tented camps do not have such permanent and solid structures.
